Don’t Run Alone, Heroes Respond in Teams

A first responder never responds alone, so if you’re testing your chops at being a Hero why should you? Team registration is available and encouraged — get your friends, co-workers, gym buds and more to join you in the Rush. The largest and most creative groups will get special recognition — and maybe a few surprises!

Teams are easy to create, join and invite your friends to. At similar events, teams typically get creative in standing out at the event, so we’re looking forward to seeing some heroics there!

Running the Hero Rush course doesn’t require a team — but certainly having a few friends to keep you going and finishing can’t hurt, plus there will be a few challenges along the way where a buddy or two would be a great asset to have. Whether you’re just bringing one buddy or 20 — being part of a team at Hero Rush will really enhance your experience!

▶ How do I create or join a team when I register?

Click any register link and you will have the option to create a new team or join an existing team.

▶ How do I join an existing team if I already registered as an individual?

Go to the page for your event location and click on the yellow “Already Signed Up” box. Then, under “INDIVIDUALS,” click on “Join an existing team.” Note: To make any changes, please be prepared to login with your Hero Rush account or have your DOB and Confirmation # available.

▶ How do I create a new team if I already registered as an individual?

Go to the page for your event location and click on the yellow “Already Signed Up” box. Then, under “INDIVIDUALS,” click on “Create a new team.” You and any friends then will need to follow the join process to move yourselves from an individual registration to your newly created team! Note: To make any changes, please be prepared to login with your Hero Rush account or have your DOB and Confirmation # available.

▶ How can I invite people to join my team?

Go to the page for your event location and click on the yellow “Already Signed Up” box. Then, under “TEAMS,” click on “Invite friends.” Once you login you’ll see the Team Manager options on the left.

▶ How can I send a message to people on my team?

Go to the page for your event location and click on the yellow “Already Signed Up” box. Then, under “TEAMS,” click on “Email the members of your team.” Once you login you’ll see the Team Manager options on the left.
