Don’t Run Alone, Heroes Respond in Teams

Hero Rush is a great opportunity to get together with your friends, gym buds, co-workers – whoever! – and put yourselves to the test. Teams are easy to create, join and invite your friends. Help us boost the ranks and create a stellar event by building your team today! Teams are not required for Hero Rush, but they make it a lot more fun!

TEAM CAPTAIN INCENTIVE PROGRAM

Here is your chance to get all your buds together and receive some sweet deals as their Team Captain. To register your team, click any REGISTER link on the Hero Rush website and choose the option to create a new team. Once your team is signed up, log into your Team Manager page and click on the “Invite Friends” to start recruiting. Use Facebook, Twitter, email lists, company newsletters and more to drive interest in your team!

  • Recruit 10+ people: You get a Hero Rush T-shirt, your entry fee refunded after the event and a dedicated area for your team in our Inferno Midway.
  • Recruit 15+ people: You get a Hero Rush T-shirt, your entry fee refunded, a dedicated area in our Inferno Midway AND one free registration for any future Hero Rush event.
  • Recruit 25+ people: You get a Hero Rush T-shirt, your entry fee refunded, a dedicated area in our Inferno Midway, one free registration for any future Hero Rush event and a Heroic Prize Pack full of Hero Rush goodies.

TEAM AXE AWARD – FASTEST TEAM

After each Hero Rush event, we will award one team with the Team Axe Award. The award goes to the team with the fastest average time of the top 4 fastest team members. The winning team will receive the Team Axe Award, a team photo and will be immortalized on our Facebook page and the Hero Rush website!

To be eligible, a team must have four or more members, and each team member must complete all obstacles in order to qualify for the Team Axe Award.

  • Teams of 4 or more are eligible for the Team Axe Award.
  • The Team Axe Award goes to the team with the fastest average time of the four fastest team members.
  • Each team member must complete all obstacles in order to qualify for the Team Axe Award.
  • Winning team will receive the Team Axe Award, a Team photo and Immortalized on the Hero Rush Facebook Page and website.

THIRD ALARM AWARD — LARGEST TEAM

At each Hero Rush event, we will award the team with the most members the Largest Team Award. The largest team will receive a Hero Rush award, a team photo and will be immortalized on our Facebook page and the Hero Rush website!

  • The award goes to the team with the most members registered for the same Hero Rush event.
  • Winning team will receive the Third Alarm Award, Team photo and Immortalized on the Hero Rush Facebook Page and website.

How do I create or join a team when I register?

Click any register link and you will have the option to create a new team or join an existing team.

How do I join an existing team if I already registered as an individual?

Please email registration@herorush.com. Please include the race location and date, the full name you registered with, your confirmation number, if available, as well as the team name you wish to join.

How do I create a new team if I already registered as an individual?

Please email registration@herorush.com to have your team created. Please include the race location and date, the full name you registered with, your confirmation number, if available, as well as the team name you would like to use.

How can I invite people to join my team?

Go to myevents.active.com and login with the username and password you used to register. Once logged in, click on “Manage my Team” under the specific event you want to see. Next click “Invite More” and send an invite to your friends. Your contacts will receive an email invitation with a unique link to join the team you have created.

How can I send a message to people on my team?

If you are registered for Central Texas, North Texas, Maryland/DC, Pennsylvania/NJ, Virginia or New England, go to www.myevents.active.com and login with the username and password you used to register. Once logged in, click on “Manage my Team” under the specific event you want to see. Next click “Email Team.”

If you are registered for North Carolina, New York East or Western New York, go to your event registration page and scroll down to the instructions for Existing Registrants. Then, under “TEAMS,” click on “Email the members of your team.” Once you login you’ll see the Team Manager options on the left.
