Hero Rush Central Texas 2013
OK, so 2013 is pretty far off right? We’re talking to a great venue for our Central Texas event we’ll be announcing soon. But if you can’t wait, surely you’ll enjoy our North Texas event on June 16, 2012 (That’s Father’s Day so bring your Pops!). Doing both Texas events will be very heroic! Stay tuned for details on this venue and live registration announcements. All pre-registration discounts can be used for 2013 events!

(Not Just) Spectators
No one sits around when an emergency is happening — so why should anyone just watch at Hero Rush? With a (Not Just A) Spectator Pass, you get full access to the Inferno Midway filled with unique firefighter-themed challenges, additional obstacles to try, vendors, festival features and live entertainment, great viewing areas for multiple places on the course, PLUS $5 in Hero Dinero for food & beverages — all for just $15 if pre-purchased online.
For the Kids
We’ll have two kids courses — a short dash for the 4-6 crowd that is completely free, and a mini-obstacle course for those aged 7-13. All proceeds from the Kids Course will benefit a local fire service/public safety themed charity. Suggest a charity from your community here.
Runners, Racers & Obstacle Gurus
Race registration includes your entry to the Hero Rush Obstacle Race, timing chip & runners bib, Hero rush Inferno Tour 2012 custom-designed t-shirt, special completion medal (design unveiled in early 2012), complimentary bag check and full access to the Inferno Midway, and $5 in Hero Dinero good for food & beverages of your choice onsite.

Runners must be at least 18 years old on race day, or at least 14 with parental permission (parent must be present on race day with signed waiver). Competitive and 343 waves are additional $10. Registration prices chance/end at 11:59 CT on date listed.

The 343 Wave
Every Hero Rush event will have a “343″ wave dedicated to the firefighters lost on 9/11. Each runner will wear a commemorative racer’s bib showing the name of one of these fallen heroes. The wave is an additional $10, which will be matched by Hero Rush and donated entirely to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.
Fire Department, EMS, Police & Military Discounts
We are proud to offer $5 off any registration price point for firefighters, police officers, EMS professionals and the military. Simply select your appropriate segment during registration. You will need to present a valid corresponding ID on site to participate at that rate or pay the price difference. On Race Day: Firefighters, public safety & military are strongly encouraged to wear identifying t-shirt, cap or other item so we can find you!
Team Registration – Being a Hero is All About Teamwork!
Team registration is available and encouraged — get your friends, co-workers, gym buds and more to join you in the Rush. Visit our teams FAQ for more information. The largest and most creative groups will get special recognition — and maybe a few surprises!
Transfers & Refunds
We do not offer refunds on runner registrations, but they are easily transferable up to 30 days prior to the event.
Rush VIP
Our Fire Command VIP program offers special Chief level access at the event, including VIP parking, a special on-site registration and baggage check line, a specially designed race bib, $5 in additional Hero Dinero, AND a $5 donation to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation INCLUDED. We will also have special VIP features at each event. Fire Command VIP is available for just $25 per event for a limited time and can be purchased during the normal registration process or you can edit your existing registration to add it. You can access VIP from the event registration page when it goes live.
