The first-ever marriage proposal at a Hero Rush event!
“This was a great event. We have been to many events mud runs, marathons, 5ks this was one of the best”
“Hi I just got home from running the Hero Rush, which was totally awesome! Can’t wait for next year.”
“You guys put on a quality event with a family friendly atmosphere. Look for an e-mail from me hopefully later today. One thing that I have to say here is that your volunteers/workers at the obstacles and water stations were the best that I have ever seen at any obstacle racing event period. That is including Warrior Dash, Tough Mudder, and Spartan Race. I don’t know if you just had some really good volunteers or if you gave them a pre-race instructional meeting or what, but they were great. Well done!”

Are You Bringing Your Hero "A" Game (and Costume/Cape?)
“Super fun race today, y’all did a great job of organizing it and had awesome obstacles. My kids had fun doing the Jr rush, even did it 2 more times afterwards. Their only wish was it was more of a challenge with more obstacles. We will.be back next year!!!!”
“I ran the North Texas race today and it was my first time doing any race what so ever. I loved it. Just an awesome experience”

Steady as She Goes at Basement Entrapped
“This course was a BLAST!!!! I’ll be doing any of them I can get time off of work for! The course was really well marked and there were plenty of volunteers along the way to answer any questions and to encourage the Rushers….. I would HIGHLY recommend this race to any of my friends and co-workers”
“Had a great time and yes Hero Rush was much harder then the Warrior Dash in my opinion ! You guys did a great job with coming up with the obstacles ! Giving you guys a big HOORAH and can’t wait for next year .”
“Had a total blast. I have done a couple of these type of races and nothing compares! Very organized, love the VIP upgrade and every obstacle was different and fun. Very family friendly. My daughter, son and several friends joined me this year and I am sure we will have more next year. CAN’T WAIT!!! Only advise is I wish the 343 wave would have been at 9:30 before it is too hot. Thank you for a wonderful day of fun with family & friends.”
“BY FAR the most fun I’ve had at any race. Kudos! Very well organized.”
“The five-hour trip from San Antonio to Irving was well worth it. I think the most amazing thing [is that] this is Hero Rush’s first year as an event, and only their third-ever race. It could have been plagued with glitches, but instead it was one of the best-put-together events I’ve attended, with only a few minor issues that were/could be easily remedied.”
“Loved the race today! Competitive wave was awesome, and can’t wait to see how y’all make it a bit smoother for next year. VIP stuff was nice too!”"

Splashdown at Towering Inferno
“We had a totally awesome time..can’t wait till 2013! I guarantee we will be there Aaron Lee Pritchett Brandy Jones and James E Berry Jr…possibly more”
“REALLY impressed with your event today–there were a few minor things that could be tweaked a bit, but this was by far the most family-friendly and original race I’ve done!”
“Everything was unique! Everyone has a cargo net, barbed wire, mud pits, etc…this had totally different kinds of obstacles and even when the same elements were used (cargo nets) the obstacle itself was still something I haven’t done/seen before. FUN!”
“All in all this was an outstanding race and one I’ll definitely want to run again — as do the kids.”
“We had an amazing time today we will be there next year and were going to have a lot more people with us. We do love hero rush.”

“Awesome event. It was harder than the warrior dash. Great atmosphere. Will bring more with me when I see you again in March.”
“I’m definitely going to be in Central Texas for the Rush in March…… this one here in North Texas was a BLAST!”
“This was a great race! All the volunteers were so helpful and encouraging! The water to drink was super cold at each station!! You all deserve some rest too!”
